1.) I have a slight addiction to organizational tools. Think apps, planners, Post-Its, notebooks, etc. Even when I’m doing well in terms of staying on top of assignments and events (and I do stay on top of them), I’m always looking for something else that might make me feel just a little more “together”. My latest find?
Grid Diary. It’s great for being everything to a memory-keeper to a bad-day reframer to a to-do list. I stumbled across it on Tuesday morning and I love it. Two of my other favorite organizers are my Erin Condren Life Planner and the Timeful app.
2.) I also have a mild sugar addiction. I know, we’ve talked about this before. But now school is actively encouraging it. Oh, no.
Except yes. Sitting in econ lecture before lunch with this pile of candy in front of me and not being allowed to eat it might be more difficult than any exam I’ve taken so far. Okay, that’s a lie. But it was a little cruel. Also, no, I didn’t get to keep all of that candy. I did not “win” our little game. However, I did get two packs of Starburst and one of M&Ms. I’ll take what I can get.
3.) I promise I’ll share my summer plans as soon as all my interviews are done and my decision is made (I have another interview this afternoon). That said, I’ve started to sort out what I want to do and I am so endlessly grateful to all the people who have listened to me complain about having to decide. I am so very aware that this is a good thing, but I hate decision-making.
4.) Also, when I have problems, I tend to be fairly willing to tell anybody who asks. I’m aware that this is annoying and I’m sorry. So tons of thanks to the friends, Uber drivers, and family members who have listened to me babble lately.
5.) I don’t expect you to ever need the information in the video below, but maybe you really want a kangaroo.

7.) I graduated high school exactly a year ago today.
Crazy.
8.) It’s also my parents’ anniversary.
So happy anniversary to my endlessly supportive, incredibly loving parents. I don’t know what I’d do without you. Oh. I wouldn’t be here. So… I wouldn’t do anything without you? Anyway, I love you dearly and I’m really glad you love each other. 🙂

😆 Omg that kangaroo thing is absolutely hilarious. I didn’t know it was that easy! I wonder if you could do that with koalas as well. Personally? I’d love to have a tiger. But I don’t know where I’d put it. Or what I’d feed it 😯 And are you getting super excited to see the new Erin Condrens?!?! They’re being released in a few weeks!

OMG I love all things sugar!! : ) I love the red Starburst – probably my favorite. Then yellow… I know I’m weird for not loving the pink one! And I would totally have a pet Koala if I could. Happy Thursday!!

I love organizing my life too, especially when it gets crazy! Unfortunately, I don’t really have any superbly innovative tool ideas, as my “tools” stick mostly to white boards, plain old pencil-and-paper lists and an awesome to-do list maker app on my phone.
I hate Starbursts (make way for chocolate, fruit candy!), so I don’t have a favorite. You can eat all of mine! 😛
Since I was really little, I’ve always wanted a pet dolphin. But then I would also need a very big pool to keep it in. 🙂
Other random thoughts…
1) Thursdays I usually feel drained and all I want to do is lay around doing nothing. Not today, and I don’t know why, but I’ll take it.
2) On a similar note, even though I hate running for exercise, I really enjoy running for pleasure. Today just feels like a day to run and I want to get out in the sun and just do it!
3) When I was younger, I always wanted to learn how to sail. Watching a movie yesterday that prominently featured sailing made me kind of wish all over again I had.
White boards are fun, too! And I’m allll for pen-and-paper. They’re still around for a reason 😉
I loved studying dolphins (and also killer whales?) when I was little! But I think it’d be pretty sweet to have a giant pool with a dolphin (or two or three) in it 😀

Yep – the pink ones are strawberry (I say as I eat one 😉 ).
Wild horses are gorgeous! Okay, most horses are, but I saw some on a tour in Aruba once and they’re kind of beautiful.
