Thinking Out Loud #3: Midterm Madness

in Thinking Out Loud on

Hey there! I’m just going to pop in real quick and link up with Amanda because I want to and I need a break from calc. I need a lot of breaks. But I also need to keep studying (midterm time). So, here are some random thoughts and such from this week.

1.) Every single day (even the gross, rainy ones) I marvel at how pretty everything here is. Stunning. Just looking around makes me smile.

prett12.) Days I have class feel a lot better than days I don’t. I interact with way more people, and I feel more purposeful. I definitely still enjoy having time to get things done on my own on all the other days, but a little bit of structure never hurt anybody, ya know?

3.) I really, really cannot wait until about noon. My calc midterm will be over and I can focus on the paper I need to write and my econ midterm next week. But the calc one… it’s caused some stress.

4.) This weekend…

shake

{This may just be a way to show off my milkshake. Maybe.}

…is homecoming weekend and family weekend, so I get to see my grandparents and show them around my new home. I can’t wait!

5.) It’s so weird to think that I have a meeting with my adviser this afternoon to start talking about my schedule for next quarter. This one isn’t quite halfway over, and I’m already working on the next one? Time. It goes fast.

6.) Other things that go fast? (Other than Oreos, because we all know I have an Oreo addiction right now.)

jif

Please go buy some of this and be so happy you did it. It’s delicious on chocolate graham crackers and apples and Oreos (I’m sick) and spoons. Light and fluffy and addictive. It’s like a pumpkin-peanut butter pudding, and it is wonderful.

That was really short and to-the-point, and I have plenty of things I want to share, but calc calls.

Have a lovely Thursday!

I’m the same way with feeling so much better when I’m out interacting with people. Too much time alone and I start feeling funky, which is weird because I’m an introvert and actually enjoy being alone. And I can’t even believe how gorgeous it is where you are! Like scenes from a movie…

Yep, I love being alone… but I guess sometimes it’s just too much? And yes! I feel like I’m on a movie set every day. Craziness.

Yum. I’m seriously jealous of that milkshake, whether it’s in homecoming cup or not.

Also. Jif Whips came out of nowhere. I’ve never seen them before today, and now I’ve seen them on like 4 blogs. I think it’s a sign I too should try it. 🙂

The milkshakes are wonderful, and they’re only $1. So worth it.

They did! But they’re great. DEFINITELY try one. (Or more than one, duh.)
